Associated Equipment Tab

The Associated Equipment tab of the Equipment window is where users can manage associated equipment linked to both the primary item and current selection.

Linked Devices

Linked devices are the associated equipment items that are connected to the primary item.

Available Devices

Available devices are the associated equipment items within the project that are not connected to the primary item.

Bulk Link to Selected Equipment

Bulk Link to Selected Equipment will link the selected associated devices from both the Linked Devices and Available Devices tables to the current selection of equipment items in tag browser. The system will automatically skip equipment items already linked to the selected associated devices.

Bulk Unlink from Selected Equipment

Bulk Unlink from Selected Equipment will unlink the selected associated devices from both the Linked Devices and Available Devices tables from the current selection of equipment items in tag browser.

Link

The Link button will link all selected items in the Available Devices table to the primary item, they will then appear in the Linked Devices table

Unlink

The Unlink button will remove all selected items from the Linked Devices table of the primary item, they will then appear in the Available Devices table

Associated Equipment Fields

Description – A short description to help identify the associated equipment item

Certificate – The Certificate of Conformity of the associated equipment item

Protection – The Equipment Protection Type

Service – The service of the associated equipment item e.g. Gland, Seal, Stopping Plug, IS Barrier

Manufacturer – The manufacturer of the associated equipment item

Model – The model of the associated equipment item
