Installing the Inspection App
The Ex-Online Inspection App — listed as Ex-Online 7 in the app stores — lets you complete inspections offline on a tablet, laptop, or phone. You load an Inspection Work Pack (IWP), fill in check sheets, capture photos, sign off, and then transfer results back to Ex-Online when you’re ready.
The app is free to download from all major app stores. Search for “Ex-Online 7”, or use the direct links in the table below.

A camera is recommended for capturing inspection photos. All platforms require storage space for IWP files and photos — a typical work pack with documents and photos can range from tens of megabytes to several hundred, depending on the number of items and included attachments.
After Installing

Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| Can’t find the app in the store | Search for “Ex-Online 7” — that’s the listing name on all platforms. If search doesn’t work, use the direct links above |
| App won’t install | Verify your device meets the minimum version requirements listed above |
| IWP won’t load | Check that the file has the .iwp extension and isn’t 0 KB. If it still won’t load, download it again from the Tag Browser |
| No camera option | Check that the app has camera permissions in your device settings |
