Uploading Inspection Results

Transfer completed inspection results back to Tag Browser via QR code or .iwt file.

  1. In the Equipment Browser, select the items you want to transfer — typically Select All to include every completed item, or check individual rows if you only need a subset.

  2. Open the Sidebar Menu (hamburger icon, top-left) and click Transfer under Actions.

Use this method when the inspection device does not have internet access. You create a file and transfer it manually.

  1. In the Select Upload Method dialog, choose Create .iwt File.

  2. Save the file — keep the default filename for traceability.

  3. Transfer the .iwt file to a device with internet access (e.g. via USB or network share).

  4. In the Tag Browser, click the Inspection dropdown and choose Upload.

  5. The Inspection Work Pack Upload dialog opens.

  6. Configure the upload options and leave Skip Backup unchecked — see Upload Dialog for a full breakdown of every setting.

  7. Click Choose File and select the .iwt file.

  8. Click Upload and monitor the System Message area for progress.

Use this method when both your inspection device and a computer with Tag Browser have internet access. Results upload directly — no .iwt file needed.

  1. In the Tag Browser, click the Inspection dropdown and choose QR Upload.
