Account Resources

Account Resources are documents and associated equipment shared across every project in an account. Common examples include personnel qualifications, certificates, standard operating procedures, hazardous area classification drawings, and company-wide reference materials. Items added here are available immediately in all projects — there is no need to upload the same document or re-enter the same associated equipment item in each project individually.

The Account Resources view is opened from the Account Resources button in the Accounts Page toolbar. It has its own URL (/Account/AccountResources) and contains two tabs: ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT and DOCUMENTS.

The ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT tab is selected by default. It displays a grid of account-level associated equipment — glands, barriers, junction boxes, stopping plugs, adaptors, and other secondary devices shared across the account.

Cells with pending unsaved changes highlight in yellow. The Save button commits changes; Discard cancels them.

The grid shares the same column structure as the project-level Associated Equipment grid.

Items are added directly from the Account Resources view.

  • Associated equipment: Click Add on the ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT tab, fill in the fields in the new grid row, then click Save.
  • Documents: Click Add on the DOCUMENTS tab, complete the metadata dialog, attach a file, and confirm.

Once added, account-level items are available in every project in the account immediately.

Account-level documents appear in each project’s DOCUMENTS tab alongside project-specific documents. They are identified by a black dot (share icon) in the grid. Account-level associated equipment appears in each project’s ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT tab.

Account resources are managed centrally — edits made in the Account Resources view are reflected in all projects. Project users cannot delete or modify account-level items from within a project.
